COULD romance be in the air for multi-platinum-selling artist Ciara while she’s in Australia?

The sultry performer, best known for her Love Sex Magic collaboration with Justin Timberlake, was the sole female in the line-up for Summerbeatz tour, which rolled into Sydney yesterday.

The event featured an all-star R&B line-up, including Akon, Ja Rule and Flo Rida, and when Insider spoke to Ciara during the week, she said she was hoping to get better acquainted with Flo Rida.

“I’ve met Flo Rida once – he seems great. I’d really like to get to know him more on this tour though,” she said.

Ciara, 25, also revealed she goes back a long way with Akon.

“We used to work in this small house in Atlanta, Georgia,” she said. “He used to work in the studio making music in a room over from me, and I used to be in a rehearsal hall dancing with my choreographer, so we have a history.”

Ciara could well be in the right mood for romance, as being in Australia is such a thrill.

“It’s always been a dream of mine,” she said. “I can’t believe I haven’t been here before.”
